My Lord, I would like to be cynical enough to say I'm not surprized. However, I can't. I truly am slightly amazed that we would treat each other that way.
Although, as I drove south on SR67 in Indianapolis today, I couldn't help but notice all of the CP Morgan homes. Hundreds and hundreds of the same 5 homes packed tightly together. Their own private parks & pools are just 2 of the many perks one can acquire when purchasing these homes. From the 80-150 range, very affordable for all families with a dual income. My mind flashed back to my childhood when this same highway was miles & miles of the sweetest corn and tomatoes in America. Then the drought occurs, then come the bad crops,then the foreclosures, "Rain on the Scarecrow" my friend.
So, while I am disgusted by this story & our treatment of our fellow man, I guess nothing in this administration really surprizes me anymore. It's the same party that claims that Reagan was an economical success. You know what?? This is really all just a continuing argument that I have with my father, so I won't bother you any more with my babble.
That's disgusting. You do NOT live in this world. That is a world far, far away. It doesn't affect us in any way...
I think my biggest problem is that it feels so far away and it isn't, and happening there is not a defense against it happening here.
And hey, u referenced Rain on the Scarecrow... I can't begin to express how few people in my world right now get that reference when I make it. We just come from different worlds.
Speaking of "Scarecrow"...Johnny Cougar is going on a small tour, you know...I would break EVERY rule for that!
